A-Life On Pi
Low-fi artifical-life simulations on a Raspberry Pi
Home to my artificial-life projects designed to run on low-end hardware to generate continually-evolving interesting behaviour and pleasing visuals
Always evolving.
Artificial-life is about simulating life-like and nature-inspired processes. It's appealing because it can generate complex behaviour from simple rules or systems.
I used to love experimenting with A-life ideas on my home computer so when i found myself with a spare Raspberry Pi I thought it would be a good opportunity to rekindle some of that love and share the experience and code so anyone else interested can play around too.
A 1D world with colourful evolving cells visualised over time as they compete to match locks and keys.
Multi-state multi-rule cellular automata. The focus being to generate pretty patterns.
Very early stages - more coming soon.
